President
Louis P. Minicucci, Jr. has been actively involved in the Greater Lawrence community. Beginning his professional career in 1972 as Commercial-Industrial Division Manager at Harris Realty in Lawrence, he since has accrued 28 years of experience in real estate, feasibility and market analysis, real estate appraisal, development and brokerage.
In 1982, Mr. Minicucci founded MINCO; since that time, MINCO has expanded its scope and is now one of the largest commercial real estate companies in the Merrimack Valley. From working on the development of such projects as the Lawrence Industrial Park — home of New Balance Shoes and the Gem Group Inc., other projects like the North Andover Stop and Shop and hundreds of commercial and industrial sales, it is difficult to drive through the Merrimack Valley without seeing a MINCO sign.
Mr. Minicucci received his M.B.A. from Suffolk University in 1972, and has completed courses in real estate development at Harvard University Graduate School of Design, in addition to numerous appraisal courses. He is a Massachusetts licensed Construction Supervisor, Massachusetts Certified General Real Estate Appraiser (License #740) and a Massachusetts Licensed Real Estate Broker (License #70850) . He has served as an expert witness in matters of real estate evaluation in numerous cases before District, Superior, and Probate courts in both Essex and Middlesex County. He has also testified in Rockingham Superior Courts on numerous occasions as well as the Federal 5th District and Bankruptcy courts.
Throughout his professional career in the Merrimack Valley, Mr. Minicucci has served as Chairman of the Greater Lawrence Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Economic Development Committee. He served on the Executive Board of the Lawrence Boys and Girls Club, the Lawrence Managing YMCA Board, and was also a member of the Lawrence Rotary Club. Presently, he is a member of the North Andover School Committee and Chairman of the School Building Committee. He served as the 1997-1998 Campaign Chair for the Merrimack Valley United Way, reaching his fundraising goal of $5.1 million.
